I guess the equivalent in Spain….I’ve got an English degree so yeah…what is high school anyways!!

Yes…many time…but I don’t like travelling any more…I’m more of a staycationer…

Yes , for the most part…I like teaching but not the bit after the kids go home… you know the paperwork…bleugh…

Too many…ok one I enjoyed lately…The help…one I’m looking forward to ‘The descendents’.

Jubilation!!!!
Yay …the summer is here…the sun is out, at long last…warmer days, warmer evenings, ice creams and more ice creams, family meals eaten al fresco, weekend bbqs, my garden is blooming…

I love summer and so do my 17 children ( caught you!)..yes I said 17 but I’m talking about my great year 3 class…they are reading this as I’ m writing because I have promised them to  co write  this blog post with me …so over to them…what do you like about summer?…

I like ice cream

I love ice creams ice creams and more ice creams.

I like going to the swimming pool.

I like going to the beach. Oh but miss there are no beaches is London. Actually there is …I went to a beach in London….

I like the sun because you get vitamin D.

I love going to the fair.

I love just chillaxing outside.

H is for ….

Holidays!!!! of course…Sometimes I wonder if the only reason I go to work is to the countdown  till the next holidays.
At work they come to me if they need to know how many weeks till the next break. I start the term by announcing if it is a short half term (6 weeks) or a long halfterm(7 weeks). And from then on every Monday I enter the staff room and remind my colleagues of how near the end is..how much closer to those blessed holidays we are.

Please do not take me wrong. I love my job, most of the time…Ok, let’s be honest here…I love teaching, I love the interaction with the kids but not the bureaucracy, the endless meetings and the after the kids have gone home work.

H is also for Haagen Daaz, home,humous, hydrangea, H2O and hospitality…
