Perfect timing…

on the first day of Ramadan…this courgette made it in time for the very first shorba…

We are not very traditional when it comes to Ramadan’s food (does not need to be shorba and borek for the entire month) but we do start the month with them…

Not the prettiest courgette…could have done with a few more days…but I’m sure it will make a whole lot of difference to tonight’s shorba …perfect if you ask me

Wishing you a blessed month…

You say Summer…

we say…

watermelon...refreshing, cooling watermelon...
watermelon…refreshing, cooling watermelon…

simple quick lunches al fresco

and of course, plenty and I mean plenty of picnics with friends in local parks….

And the Summer’s rhythm is about to change…Ramadan begins on Wednesday and the eating and drinking is going to be limited…time is going to be spent differently… I have a wish, a simple wish…that I am blessed with a simple Ramadan….simplicity is what I simply want…keep it simple without complications… simple so I can focus in what is real….

I wish you and all your dear ones a happy simple peaceful Ramadan,

Ines
