The end is near…

and the little one will not be stopped. My husband and I are trying very hard to make her understand how special Ramadan is and how it shouldn’t be rushed. After all she might not get another chance…But it’s in vain. I agree with my husband (did I just write that?!?!) she is too young and she wants the month to be over and get on with the most special day in the year as far as she is concerned, EID!!

She has so many lists going on from ‘what we are eating’ to ‘where we are going’ without forgetting ‘what I would like…’. Bless her (with a broomstick!). Mashallah.

  2. you know all the kids are the same….mine are planning how they can help the eid cakes….we’re planning a family day possibly at home if the weather isn’t friendly and a take away toreward our efforts in the kitchen this month insha’allah πŸ˜‰

  3. Assalaamu Alaykum,

Ahhhh! My 8yr old, H, has the lists done. She has a little sweet shop toy so she’s got a list of things she’s going to “sell” (well, really give away) and a list of games they’re going to play!

May your little on have a lovely ‘Eid!!!
